Deep red colour, starting to develop a brick tone with an opaque centre and a medium rim. Slightly stewed red fruit on the nose, but attractive despite the slight stewiness. Nice texture on the palate with poise and fine combination of fruit and soft, ripe tannins. A little lighter-bodied than the main Symington labels but finishes with a lovely sour cherry and dark chocolate finish. Very enjoyable drinking. 89/100.

Muted nose. Can't find much at all there. Better on the palate. Red fruits and a tonne of tannins. Orange peel acidity late. A decent finish.

Dark. Quite good. Bit one-note.

70% opacity, deep dark red, slightly cloudy. Lively red fruit and violets on the nose. Full, dryness, soft tannin, lovely rich red fruit.
