I should add- double-decanted 2200 23/5/22. Quite a lot of solid sediment - almost Niepoort-level.

Double-decanted for 23½ hours. Very light in pigmentation, a dark orange colour which is 80% opaque. A little baked orange marmalade on the nose, Lemon and lime marmalade on the palate. Lightweight on the palate, gentle and delicate, lacking the weight of the other wines from the vintage at this tasting. Lemon and lime marmalade aftertaste and a roasted lime finish. Pleasant enough. 84/100.

Muted nose. Fairly simple. Leads with orange acidity and cherries but not much else.

Looks a little elderly. Indeterminate nose. Pleasant enough on the palate but in this company it is not going to get any points. Hint of orange, late.
