Very recently recorked recent release from Symington.

Decanted and poured and considered over an hour or so.

A lovely rich garnet.

Nose - violets and then blackcurrant pastilles.

The most wonderfully grapey front palate. Then, cherries, later. A little almond macaroon.

This is brilliant port. My mother is expanding on the subject of the Beverley housing market. This wine is sufficiently wonderful to enable me to respond kindly.

Never below excellent. A salute to whoever at Symingtons took the decision to recork this before re-release.
