For the Platinum Jubilee long weekend, a bottle of 1977 Sandeman, which is marked with "The Silver Jubilee".
Double decanted 5 hours ahead.
Well-integrated, Soft and elegant. Mature, not tannic or spirity
Some slight musty cardboard (others thought earthy). Enjoyable light red fruits (incl strawberry).
Medium long finish
D+1 less cardboard, but less fruity, not as enjoyable
Overall a very enjoyable bottle.
