Announcement topic ‘Information About Port’

The Announcement topic, Information About Port, seems somewhat dated. Should it be improved or, my vote, de‑Announcement’d?

There’s a lot of interesting information linked to that post - I vote to keep it, but will listen closely to newer members of the forum to see if they found it useful when first browsing the site.

I think it is useful so would vote to keep. I do wonder if it could be ‘rolled’ into the press releases and announcements thread as an all encompassing reference thread. This could also have the threads as to which shippers/producers have declared each year and lots of other oddities such as cleaning decanters, port literary/cultural references and decanting times among I am sure many others. Not sure how easy that is to do for the mods but it would have the benefit of all the ‘useful’ information being in one place.
