1966 Taylor

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Bottled by Mayor Sworder. A deep burnished copper-red; 50% opaque. A little aggressive on the nose, showing some bright redcurrant. A lovely texture on the palate, full of red cherry and raspberry jam. Big and mouth-filling with wonderful cedar wood and other secondary flavours. Warm cedar and nutmeg on the aftertaste before a sticky redcurrant finish. Very fine; a delicious Port. 94/100. Tasted 25-Jul-22. Decanted 8 hours.
