Quevedo Virtual Tastings - US Version!

Post by SLT »

I know many people here have participated in Oscar's Virutal tastings in the past. Sadly, we've never been able to get the tasting packs for the virutal tastings in the United States, but we've finally worked this out that now people can order them on Quevedo's website and they can be shipped to the US.

I've worked with Oscar to plan two tastings:

Nov. 10, 2022, 6pm PST - Virtual Tasting with Oscar (Theme: Old Whites with different levels of residual sugar).
Dec. 9, 2022, 6pm PST - Virtual Tasting with Oscar (Theme: Single Varietal Ports)

The tasting packs are available now on the Quevedo's Webiste (https://bit.ly/quevedotasting). The deadline for ordering is October 16 to ensure enough time for bottling and shipping prior to the events.

Although these events are being scheduled at "US-friendly" times, it is open to anyone from other countries who would like to purchase the tasting packs and join!

You can see a quick video and learn more about these two events here:
https://www.theportguy.com/quevedo-virtual-tastings/
(Note: Dates in the video are incorrect. We changed the dates after shooting the video. The dates above and on the Quevedo site are correct - Nov 10 and Dec 9)

Reach out if you have questions, and hope to see a lot of you there!

So that it's recorded in this thread, the date of the Nov 10 tasting is going to have to be moved because the tasting packs have not yet arrived from Portugal. Stewart is working with Oscar to find a new date, which will probably not be until at least January.

The Dec 9 tasting is still on schedule.
