Anyone collecting from Strakers?

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

It seems my offer of not much more than nothing won me lot 406 in the recent sale (that’s 5 bottles of South African fortified wine).

Is anyone planning to visit Strakers in the next few weeks and able to pick these up for me? I’m in no rush for the bottles.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

On the subject of collecting - I put a very keen bid in on one lot at Keys in Norfolk, and threw in a couple of shot to nothing bids as well. The long shots came home but not the one I was after.. - I will probably trundle up there on Wednesday to collect, and will have a lot of spare space in the car, if anyone else has anything to collect..
