How they gave us the runaround!
Now they will also launch a Pink Vintage Port!
Remember: Roy Hersh already rated the standard Pink Port- a very basic thing- 82 Points. So the Pink Vintage Port will certainly not be a simple Barbies Drink at all. I would advice: Portlovers, fasten your seatbelts!
Starting market will be China, well known for its fast growing upper class. First release will be in 2009 (chinese year of the pig). I am so excited! And I can't wait to pick up some cases on one of my next journeys to the chinese wall.

I am very sorry for my uncompleted message, but there are grave reasons not to endanger release on 1. April 2009 in China. Perhaps, you can imagine that it's not easy to place a top notch product in such a young democracy. But you can say you heard it first here- on theportforum. Enjoy it!

Axel & Michael,
Surely it's the '
Dereks' you can smile at, rather than the Tommies!

Sorry, but I think something is going wrong here so that I have to catch.
Please do not simplify the concept "Tommy" (plural:"Tommies"). The equation Tommy=UK person is certainly a chunky simplification.
You are desperate to understand "Tommy" against the background of the rheinisch/niederrheinisch idiom and especially philosophie ("Ett hätt noch immer jood jejange"). There is no legal definition but literature has developed some accepted dimensions which are.
a) Descendent of mariners from the northern hemisphere
b) Living on an island
c) Likes playing football, but not very successfull
d) Eats bloody sausages at breakfast
c) Hangs on to old money
d) Shares a real passion with you
e) Allways pays better prices for that passion than you
One would share everything with a Tommy, except the BMW motorbike.

We only let you win or you wouldn't want to play.
