NV Graham Tawny 20YO

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Available by the glass from the Acorn Inn in Evershot, Dorset. £13 for 75ml.

Tawny red colour, 30% opaque. Virtually nothing showing on the nose. Nice texture on the palate, dried zest and dried strawberry. Nicely balanced, with good acidity keeping the freshness of the wine; soft and rounded. Dried zest and a little lime on the aftertaste. Very nice. By the glass from a bottle open and on the shelf an unknown amount of time. 89/100. 09-Feb-23.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
