1960 Graham

Bottled by J G Thompson of Leith in ‘Autumn 1962’
Decanted 2100
Not opaque. Orange rim, but the centre the most glorious crimson.
Nose has notes of aguardiente and redcurrant. Some star anise, later.
Lovely soft mouthfeel. Almonds and cherry blossom.
Bakewell tart. Some white pepper, very late, early but that is fading after an hour or so.
This is truly delicious; old wine, now, but still a pleasure.
