A brand used by the Companhia Geral da Agricultura das Vinhas do Alto Douro.

Warm orange in colour, looking attractive and mature. Very limited on the nose, just a small amount of oxidised orange marmalade. Light bodied entry, soft orange jelly on the palate - but a palate which grows and develops wonderfully. Rich orange peel aftertaste and a bitter-sweet orange finish. An impressive showing for a fourth tier producer. 88/100. Tasted 13-Jun-23. Decanted 14½ hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
