Deep mature brick red, 60% opaque. Sweet caramelised redcurrant on the nose. A little bitter on the palate and showing some TCA in the mouth. Such a shame, this was such a nice wine if the TCA was not present. Not Rated. Tasted 13-Jun-23.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
