An ex-cellars bottle drunk at Quinta do Noval with Carlos Agrellos and Patricia Bastos at dinner on the second night of our two night stay.
Bottled 2023: almond biscuit nose, a hint of orange marmalade. Smooth entry, orange marmalade with a huge bitterness and powerful acidity that just fills the mouth. Massive aftertaste of bitter orange and marmalade. Long, finish. A really big wine. 92/100. Drunk 21-Jun-23. Decanted 1½ hours.
