2007 Quevedo Colheita (bottled 2021)

2007 Quevedo Colheita, bottled 2021 in 9cl for the 2021 advent calendar. Brick red, 80% opaque. Dried red fruit and candied zest on the nose. Strawberry jam with lime juice on the palate, sweet yet fresh. Hints of dates on the mid-palate. Big and full of flavour. Dates and red fruit on the finish, ending with a nutty tone. Delicious, and still quite young. 91/100. Drunk 26-Feb-23. Pop 'n' pour.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
