1963 Quinta do Noval

Noval 1963, bottled by Grants of St James. Pale copper red colour, 30% opaque. Subdued, some worrying hints of wet cardboard. Sharp and bitter fruit on the palate. Bitter aftertaste. Lots of heat on the finish. Suffering from very slight TCA. Not Rated. Tasted 03-Mar-23.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
