Bottled in the UK by the Wine Society. Slightly browner in tone than the Gould Campbell tasted alongside it - a bronze tone rather than a rose-red; 30% opaque. A little subdued on the nose, a little cranberry - slightly harsh and bitter. Smooth textured entry, lovely on the palate; a little ground black pepper on a mouthful of cranberries. Very fruit forward. A fabulous aftertaste, dominated by spiced red fruit- wow! Such a lovely wine on the palate, so odd to be almost empty on the nose. 91/100.

30% opacity, mature dusty red. Dusty red fruit on the nose. Lovely soft elegant mouthfeel, cranberries which are just beginning to dry out. Another fine port!

Pale orange rim. Pale garnet interior. Pontefract cakes and cherries on the nose. Rich and full on the palate with considerable red fruit. Even better on re-examination later. Got a point from me.
