Bottled in the UK by the Wine Society. Deep red colour, mature appearance; 60% opaque. A lovely nose of dark fruit, dried basil and perhaps a little VA. Dry fruit on the palate, very youthful, and a little high-toned alcohol on the mid-palate. A touch of harshness from the VA on the aftertaste before a black fruit-gum finish. Sadly flawed.

45% opacity, mature red. Red fruit and violets on the nose. Wonderful full, rish mouthfeel, chewy cranberries, great balance. Superb port. Wondering how Alex and I had such a different experience!

Pale orange rim. Lovely garnet. Slightly sharp nose. Good quality wine. A rather nice note of almond blossom.
