From a full 12 bottle OCC purchased from Seckfords in 2021. Previous bottles from the same case have all been excellent.

Level base of neck. Capsule & cork pretty good; no seepage.

Opened & decanted at 1945 on 11/9/23, and back into bottle and Vac-U-Vined at 2130.

Mature bronze-red colour, 40% opaque. Gentle nose of spiced, mature fruit - very attractive. Balanced and wonderful on the palate with vibrant red fruit, spiced and full of life. Powerful acidity highlights the beauty of the wine. So elegant, so full of fruit. 94/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

40% opacity, mature rich red. Lovely sweet strawberry nose. Chewy entry, some bitterness, very nice. No points from me, which feels harsh.

Garnet almost all the way to the rim. Rich lush and splendid with lashing of red fruit. Excellent wine in excellent condition.
