Oporto bottled. Light copper-red colour, 30% opaque. A lovely nose of sweet spiced fruit. Light on the palate, fruit but also enormous heat. The heat overwhelms the fruit. Hot and spicy aniseed finish of good length. 86/100.

30% opacity, mature red, orange rim. Rich red fruit on the nose. Soft and smooth, gentle bitterness, toffee, drying cranberries, though a slightly artificial flavour in the finish. Pleasant enough but not a stunner.

Paler than its ilk. A bit volatile on the nose. Slightly less exciting on the palate than I had hoped. Good with steak, though.
