Bottled in the UK by Matthew Gloag. Mature red colour, 40% opaque. A little harsh fruit on the nose. A slight hint of TCA on the palate. Not rated. Opened at 20.30, double-decanted at 14.00 and drunk at 20.00. 89/100. Decanted 6 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Very slight TCA hint, which has held back an otherwise lovely port.

Beautiful colour. Pale rim. Nose stinky. Some heat and acridity. Corked.
