a Wine Society bottling

Bottled in the UK by the Wine Society. Burnt ochre colour, 50% opaque. Initially a little dirty on the nose, the smell cleared up a little with some time in the glass, although not completely. Honey and dry tannins on the palate, along with some rose hip. Warm fruit finish. Pleasant, but not showing the way T66 should. 86/100.

Bit funky this one. Had I opened it on its own with some cheese, I would have seen it off. Something in the taste profile was just not quite right.

Oddly musty. Very 'not right'. Unclean bottling?
