BTW, it's definitely N, not NN, and I've been extremely fortunate to have helped drink two of them.

I think also 3/10, but maybe 4/10. Six answers were not quite stabs in the dark, but some could be out by a century or more

I managed 1 which shows just how little I know ..... still entertaining looking up the right answers and the stories after the event ....

I think I got 4/10. I should have got one more if I had thought a bit harder but it is what it is. I had a couple of close misses (well I thought they were close) and a terrible champagne guess. This was fun to play - thanks.

4/10, a few guesses were close. 10 years out on the Thomas Jefferson and 2 years out on the Sassicia, hadn't a clue on the rest. Won't be asked to any of Neil's pub quizzes. Btw a little etymological question for you all; the word quiz comes from what country?

Alex now leads with 8/10, closely followed by a 6/10 from C&B’s Ed Pilkington.

5 for me and 3 others answered were less than 3 years out, albeit 1 was a guess and the Lafitte and Bacon misremembered.
