30% opacity, mature red-orange. Lovely round, rich mouthfeel. Wonderful caramels and dried strawberries. Long, long finish, lip-licking strawberry. I liked, 2 points.

A balsamic note on the nose. On the palate positively meaty. Still complete port. Still lovely. Still lively.

Deep red colour, a mature brick red which is about 40% opaque. Delightful and mature fruit on the nose which comes with a beautiful Christmas cake complexity. Nicely balanced entry, sweet fruit with tannins still showing. Slightly too sweet to be perfect but a lovely round palate. A flash of spearmint, a lovely dryness to the edges of the flavour then a long and lingering finish. Not the best bottle of Croft 1945, but still a lovely wine.
