Purchased from Cheffins Dec 23. Ex Cambridge college cellar.
Level high shoulder, signs of seepage.
Decanted at 1500 and consumed at 1700. Finished by 1800.
Colour: dark orange with hints of red.
Nose: not much there (mainly owing to under decanting).
Taste: a lot of aniseed and spice. Cherries and blueberries. A very long finish.
Mature port and ready to drink. Glad to have more.
