1970 Rebello Valente

The first of two auction bottles (Sworders, 5th December 2019, lot 87). Good appearance and no obvious issues. Assumed Oporto bottled.
Cork removed in one piece and in excellent condition. Loads of heavy sediment.
Decanted clean and bright. 30% opacity, pale almost tawny.
QA sample has very muted nose but palate is more forthcoming. All good.
Will have a couple of hours in the decanter then going back in the bottle and VacUVining.
Will report later.
