Decanted this first thing this morning, 8am
No leaking from the cork or seal but the cork had sunk 5mm into the neck
85% opaque – really very dark indeed
12 hours later ….
Very little nose to this but with a bit of time and a lot of sniffing cherries and spices come through.
Tastes like chocolate and rolls around the palate very well, no pins and needles like Fonseca but a smooth finish.
Glad I bought this along with it’s 11 friends from an auction a year ago very drinkable
