Ditto my Warre cork, but Martinez and Noval came clean. All three opened 23:30.

Edit: N, W, Mz — all decanted 07:45.
W94, opened 23:30 the night before, decanted 07:45: dark dark red, 60% opaque. Other loved it. At least early in the night, I thought it not right.

60% opaque, possibly some slight browning. Some primary fruit on nose still + maybe a bready note. Palate a bit harsh with some bitterness.

Initially disappointing but then improved in the glass over an hour or so and then quite nice. Gave it 5/7 and 0.5 points.

Opened 23.30, double decanted 07.45, tasted 18.00.

Mature red colour, 70% opaque - looking rather lovely. Restrained on the nose showing only a little fruit. Nicely balanced palate with elegant raspberry jelly fruit over some soft tannins. The fruit is beautiful, ripe without being excessively sweet. A wine which is gentle and elegant; rather lovely. 93/100.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

50% opacity, red. Lovely rich nose, jammy plum and some spice. Full, rich entry, chewy red fruit, chocolate. Quickly fades with flabbiness.
