G94: dark dark red, 80% opaque. Soft, dry, slightly bitter, light. Others liked; I thought slightly imperfect.

Is that a 2022 release?
No - it's from one of those mixed Symington 3-bottle presentation cases alongside a D94 and W94. The case has been at Seckfords for some time.
Yup, that was the Dec 21 / Jan 22 release. The clue is the "matured in our cellars".

That sounds more that slightly imperfect to me. None of the bolded descriptors should normally apply to a 1994 Graham. Or really any Graham.

Unfortunate. :(

Note - this was the 2021 release. Bottles matured in Oporto.

60%+ opaque, some slight browning to rim. Still some almost primary fruit on nose. Palate more fruit than nose. Good. 5/7.

Opened at 23.00, double-decanted at 07.30 and tasted at 18.15.

Looking to be at the early stages of maturity, slightly cloudy and opaque as a result. Slightly aggressive red- and whitecurrant fruit on the nose. But these blend together to deliver a delicious sensation on the first sip; fabulous fruit, bright and fresh with a lovely balance and the self-confidence to take over the palate and fill the mouth. A hint of caramel sweetness on the fruit of the aftertaste before a long - no, very long - fruit driven finish which lingers for a long time. This 2021/22 late cellar release was my joint third best wine of the tasting. 95/100.

60% opacity dull cloudy red.. Rich redcurrant nose. Soft entry, red fruit, chocolate, fades away in the finish (like the Warre also on this occasion). Disappointing.
