I’ve just updated the list to show that according to their Instagram feeds, the Ferreira and Sandeman vintages are single Quinta wines while Offley is a full vintage blend.

Taylor just announced on their FB-page they will declare a Quinta das Vargellas Vinage Port 2022, to be released later this year and so did Fonseca about a Vintage Guimaraens 2022!

So the Symingtons issued an elegant press release on their website and Taylor Fladgate used Facebook..
..which I can't find
There does seem to be a Canadian called Taylor Fladgate with an FB page though!

Actually Taylor Fladgate has made some nice posts on Instagram announcing their declarations. That seems to be the standard way now to get news on declarations out to interested parties.

Yeah, now that Twitter is toxic it seems that Instagram is turning into the more reliable news site.

There are strong rumours that Quinta do Noval will declare a 2022 vintage, although since they haven’t done so yet, they are not on the list.

They generally release every year, unless a really bad year, so not a surprise if they do. Having a Quinta with lower and upper elevations and different sun exposures helps to make a good Port even in otherwise tough years…and why so many of us love them.

Christian Seely on Facebook:
We are very happy to announce the declaration of three outstanding Vintage Ports from the 2022 vintage:
Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage Port 2022, Quinta do Noval Vintage Port 2022, and Quinta do Passadouro Vintage Port 2022.
“We knew from the start that the Quinta do Noval Nacional Vintage Port 2022 was exceptional […]. Powerful and pure, it combines opulent richness, intensity and concentration with astonishing freshness.
The Quinta do Noval Vintage Port 2022 is marked by great concentration and purity, profound, spicy and aromatic, a very typical expression of Noval’s terroir in an outstanding year for the property.
Quinta do Passadouro Vintage Port 2022 is the result of a rigorous selection. […] the resulting wine is strongly marked by Passadouro’s distinctive style, pure floral and aromatic, but with the richness of the 2022 vintage.”
Christian Seely, Managing Director of Quinta do Noval

135 EUR at Garrafeira Tio Pepe. And if my Portuguese isn't confusing me, it looks like it is being made available first to members of Matriarca, which is the Symington wine club. I think it said just a small portion of the 6,660 bottles, but those members will at least get first crack at them.

Taylors's newsletter of today unveils a "new kid on the block": Taylor's Sentinel Vintage Port 2022. It is not a classical Taylor VP nor a SQVP, but a blend of their four properties, including Terre Feita but excluding Vargellas. I'm very curious about the pricing point of this newcomer!!

Just seen on Instagram that Carlos Alonso Douro Wines Lda. declared a 2022 Vintage Port. Now added to the list.
Since this is about their fifth vintage, we need an abbreviation for them…
