Really deep colour. Grapes on the nose. Big rich palate. Excellent, and still young, port. Got a point from me for WOTN which is impressive in this company.

G80: a silly colour — dark dark red, 80% opaque. Intense plum fruit, big and sweet, likely with baga.

Graham 1980. Very dark in colour, darker than the 1985 sitting alongside this glass. Distinctly different on the nose than the previous wines, younger with raspberry fruit rather than spiced fruit. Sweet raspberry fruit on the palate, dark chocolate tannins give a youthful and firm mouthfeel. Bright, youthful black cherry finish, long and persistent. Delightful. 91/100. Double decanted at 15.00 and tasted at 19.00.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

G80. Medium garnet, possibly medium dark garnet. Raspberry on the nose. Sweet raspberry on the palate, but not all that much else. Still some tannins, so might add some depth over the next 5 years. 92 points.

60% opacity, wull dark red. Concentrated bramble on the nose. Full, chewy, bramble fruit, nice long finish.
