Nose: redcurrants and red cherries. Slightly grassy?
Palate: caramel entry. Redcurrants follow with eucalyptus and a spicy note. Short, slightly lightweight finish. Good.

Ramos Pinto 1977: Burnt ochre colour, 30% opaque. Burnt match on the jellied fruit nose. Very light on the palate, some sweet jellied fruit with a hint of tobacco. Developing a little more with time in the mouth but never more than medium - weighted. Perfectly enjoyable, nowhere near great. 85/100. Decanted 9 hours.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
