Taylor 1960. Mature, burnt ochre colour; 20% opaque. A little aggressive on the nose, Some chilli type heat among sweet redcurrant. A litle harsh. Restrained fruit on the palate; dried and a touch bitter. Nicely balanced with the acidity providing a lovely balance. Warm cinnamon and cedar finish. Rather nice. 89/100. Tasted 23-Jul-2024.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
