Taylor 1963. Oporto bottled. Mature appearance, light bronze; 30% opaque. Restrained nose, only a little fruit showing at first; with an hour in the glass this opened up really well. Fabulous texture, bitter cranberry fills the palate, lots of heat really burns on the aftertaste. Red apple and redcurrant finish. Pleasant, but dominated by the heat. 88/100. Tasted 23-Jul-2024.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
