Taylor 1966, bottled by Grants of St. James. Still a hint of rose at the centre of the glass; 50% opaque. Warning signs on the nose — perhaps a touch of TCA? The palate is full of concentrated strawberry with no sign of TCA. A little of the typical Taylor heat on the aftertaste, then a long fuit-driven finish. 92/100. Later the nose was distinctly tainted by TCA. Tasted 23-Jul-2024.
