NV Valadao Tawny 10YO

Post by nac »

A single bottle purchased from a supermarket (possibly Intermarche?) in Provence in August 2022 for about 10 euros.

Consumed over a week or so two years later.

Quite pleasant, and much like any other supermarket 10yo tawny. Reminded me of the Morrison's own label (which I think is SFE).

Have only posted this as hadn't come across the brand before and it's linked to QH, so I assume SFE.

Very interesting - it appears to be a Quarles Harris sub-brand. Or maybe a brand owned /created specifically for Intermarché which QH won the tender to supply that year?
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
