One of a batch of bottles from a Sworders auction in 2021. Bottles were a bit grotty, but level into neck. Cork came out OK and in fairly good condition.
Maybe 30% opaque and similar to previous bottles I've had. No obvious fruit remaining on nose. Leather, licorice and possibly some violet?
Drunk over three nights and VacUVined in between. Last glass 7/9/24.
Mouth similar to nose. Nicely integrated tannin, but quite light.
I like this (and the 75s generally), but definitely getting towards the end of the drinking window.
A final hurrah awaits next year, but then drink up.
