Port Funnel Rinsing Obsessiveness

Jdaw very kindly gifted me a plastic collapsable funnel to be carried with me wherever I go in case it becomes unexpectedly essential to decant a bottle of VP.
Can anyone out there, and I think I know who you will be, please describe the optimum cleaning method for this type of funnel as it is made of plastic and has nooks and crannies that a standard stainless steel funnel would not have.
Thanks
Derek

0. If first use of funnel, scrub with soap. Otherwise proceed directly to step 1.
1. Wash hands.
2. Expand funnel.
3. Rinse funnel under cold water, inside and out.
4. Hold thin end of funnel and use a fast whole-arm motion to shake off droplets.
5. Repeat 4, perhaps holding funnel at non-thin end.
6. Stand upside down to dry.
PS: I did step 0 for you.

Thank you.
Approximately how long should Step 3 take?
Twenty seconds. Perhaps.

till its clean, Duh!
I'd use hot water first, to dislodge all the little nooks and crannies, as cold water doesn't always do that. Then a final rinse in cold. i never use soap on mine unless, like Jdaw says, its brand new.

I always lick mine clean, otherwise you are wasting the port that sticks to the side of the funnel
Once licked clean, I follow JDAW's advice except that I stand it over a radiator to dry.
