Try this for breakfast ...

I've just spent yesterday evening with 5 friends and there wife's .... I did my apprenticeship 40 odd years ago with them ....

I hosted pre dinner drinks in our room before the inevitable dinner dance got going ....

Thus I got to choose and provide the champagne, wine and port for the evening ....

Since we are all pretty much the same age the port was a F63 ... Which was as stunning as one would expect ....

My bonus ball was the small glass of F63 left over that I've just had with a rather jolly breakfast....

If you get the opportunity to try F63 with breakfast I strongly advise that you give in quickly to the urge ....

Breakfast Port.
Does not make you a bad person. Have had many previous conversations about the merits of having a go-to breakfast Claret.

It’s mostly been in Portugal that I’ve indulged in breakfast Port. It’s ranged from some sediment from a Port bottle being added to scrambled eggs, through to Graham Six Grapes with a sausage sandwich (with brown sauce), to Cockburn 1908 drunk with toast and honey in the Douro Valley.

Somehow, it always seems like a good idea at the time. And the time inevitably follows on from a heavy night of Port drinking…
