2003 Dow

Library release. Mature brick red colour. A little sweet and complex fruit on the nose. A lovely mouthful of fruit, slightly drier than the Graham 2003 tasted alongside this bottle. The palate comes with a wonderful gentle grip that subtly highlights the quality of the fruit. Great liquorice finish. A very impressive Port, which is delicious now and will continue to be for many decades. 94/100. Tasted 18-Feb-2025.
Top Ports in 2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
