1984 Taylor Vargellas. Red ochre in colour; 50% opaque. An odd nose, a little cleaning fluid. Later the nose was cleaner and less offensive. Sweet, raisiny palate, a little cranberry but also a dry, woody birch tone. Birch sawdust aftertaste, bitter cranberry finish that’s quite long. 85/100. Guess: DB84. Was: TV84. Tasted 19-Feb-2025.

Paling and fading. Tasty though. Bit acrid, late.
