BN70: red-brown, 30% opaque; very tawny — a nice 10y tawny.

1970 Butler Nephew. Pale rose in colour. Little on the nose with a hint of flabby fruit. Smooth redcurrant jelly on the palate, flavoured with brown sugar. Pleasant redcurrant aftertaste, but one which fades quickly to something a little less pleasant. 85/100. Oporto bottled. Double decanted 10 hours.

[Sample taken on night and consumed on 13/10/25] Very pale. Little on the nose. Palate is very pleasant stuff but not really discernible as vintage port.
