RO70: orange, 20% opaque. No!

1970 Royal Oporto. Very pale, a slightly red shade of amber. Astonishing nose - full of instant coffee! Slightly thickened texture on the palate with the fruit tasting distinctly of coffee. Some redcurrant on the aftertaste, and a really lovely long redcurrant finish. 86/100. Oporto bottled. Double decanted 10 hours.

[Sample taken on night and consumed on 13/10/25] Pale red. Nose suggests a long way over the coffee-scented hill. Palate is revolting. No second sip.
