1970 Feuerheerd. Dark rose red colour. Deliciously bold on the nose, with a rich and dark raspberry and bramble nose. The richness of the fruit doesn’t quite match up with the palate, which is a little hollow compared to the nose. Fierce and acidic aftertaste with a baked raspberry aftertaste and finish. This strikes me as a Port which would benefit from a little longer in the cellar. 86/100. Oporto bottled. Double decanted 10 hours.

[Sample taken on night and consumed on 13/10/25] Good light garnet. Nice start to the palate - good fruit. Rather acidic aftertaste.
