Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, was born on 21 April 1916, so on this day would have been a round telegrammable century. The occasion was marked at the Boot & Flogger with “Port Fit For A Queen”: “We know… that in the end all will be well”; “I shall not have strength to carry out this resolution alone unless you join in it with me”.
