Sitting here, sipping Warres 95 LBV, which is very nice, and watching the US Open on the HighDef.

It's quarter past one in the morning, and the leader has only just started the back 9! Dont the Americans know we have to get some sleep!

Woods wil take some beating, but Rocco Mediate is 4 ahead with 26 holes to go.

Not meaning to disappoint, did you see Kevin Piterson's comments yesterday? He hopes Twenty20 can become a major sport in the US - I guess that means alongside golf!

Kevin Pieterson

Then there is also:
Tiger Woods juggling with cricket bats
Win a years supply of Gillette products - sponsored by Tiger Woods
Cricket's new wicket: American High Schools

So as you can see, there is a lot to connect Tiger, Cricket and the US. I cannot believe I am the only one to see that?!

After Ben's obligatory Cricket reference :D , an update...

Tiger Woods has overcome a recent knee operation, to storm into a one shot lead going into the final round. Two eagles in the last 6 holes, on a brute of a Course, is anything but shoddy. This man is History in the making.

And yet, one shot behind is an Englishman. Lee Westwood.

So come on Lee! You can do it. Yet to be fair, if he doesn't, I'll have to put up with watching another twist and turn in the Woods career journey that will end up with him being able to say, he was the best Golfer that ever graced the planet. He can probably say it now.

(Still three quarters of the Warres left as well, to supplement the gallon of Guiness I'll have this afternoon.)

Should be fun. If Tigers knee holds out.
