Oh and I absolutly love Port!!

(I know the Bishop very well)

My preferred Port is a lovely Tawny, but at the moment I have been indulging in white Port, Porto Calem which is absolutly beautiful when chilled!!!

Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hi Vicky,

Welcome to :tpf: :D

I had a quick look at your blog and you certainly seem to have some skills that no-one else on this forum has

Have fun

Derek

Hello Vicky_Hic! with the cool handle. Welcome to that which sometimes functions as the port-drinkers’ blog. We like port too.

Hi and welcome. If you feel like an excuse to drink port and talk rubbish on the web, I am today celebrating the birth of my first child - 5.48am this morning.

In celebration I am proposing a virtual tasting - grab any bottle and log on to TPF! I should be back from the hospital and online about 8.30pm!

Personally I am drinking a 1970 Burmester Colheita - it is the year of my birth and a port style I have never tried before.

Enjoy TPF!

Not especially: ’67 was declared by Cockburn, Krohn, Martinez, Noval, Nacional, Rebello Valente, Royal Oporto, Sandeman, and some houses’ second names. Better than ’68 though.

Unfortunately not  - there are some 1967 VPs but not many and none of them are particularly special.

Welcome Vicky, nice to have you on here and I see you've got started posting - excellent. Have fun around here, nobody bites (unless you count Julian's occasional {cough!} pedantry). Look forward to meeting you when you turn up at a tasting.

Don't worry Vicky, I have the same problem with 1964. In a way, it makes it more satisfying to finally track down a bottle and acquire it!

Welcome!
