Would it do any harm to store a few bottles of VP in a refridgerator with an inside temperature of around 6-8 degrees C for a week or two?

I dont think it will do any harm.

Ít`s always a big quistion, how to store wine/portwine.
A friend of mine, a chemistry teacher told me that some parts og the wine will develope at 14 C and some with 15 C and so on...

So when you opend the bottle, the taste is developed by the temp.
He claims that 2 bottels of same wine will taste differents.
One taste of storing at 14 C, and a differents taste storing at 18 C

While I doubt 2-5 C would make a difference.

Temperature does play an important part in taste and storage
the colder the temp, the less the wine will age.

When it comes to taste, the cold wines tend to be brighter, more acidic and sometimes a bit simple.

When it warms up a few degrees C, the alcohols and bouquet will start to evaporate in the glass giving you more to smell.

I'd question the inverse, will it harm to keep them out at room temperature for a couple of weeks? I would lput them where they would be more stable at the current moment. If the bottles are already cold, move them into the fridge. If they are already room temperature; just leave them there.
