Hello everyone,

I am off to the Douro for three weeks of intensive photography and Quinta appointments during this year's vindima - all for A Good Nose.Com

I depart Sunday 14th Sept, so this is very short notice, but do please let me know if any of you chaps are going to be around It would be marvellous to try and hook up if you are in my vicinity, or vice versa.

I plan to be visiting thirty or forty Quintas from Ervamoira down to Régua ...so the chances are that I might see you. I seem to recall you will be in the Douro Derek so do please let me know

My wife and me are going to Porto the 22 th. of Sept. Will be in Pinhao the 24th. to the 26th. of Sept. Joining the harvest festival at Quinta do Portal
Then back to Porto, and going home the 29th.

What time do you expect to arrive in Porto? Are you planning to visit any lodges in VNG before heading up to the Douro?

Hi again

We expect to arrive at 12 o`clock midday - then going to Ponte de Lima, north of Porto.

We will be in VNG the 2 last days.

Would be fun to meet you

... missed you by a couple of days. Been there from Sep 5th to 8th. Had a great time: Visits in VNG Cockburns, Messias, Krohn, Visits of Vargellas and the Vindouro in Sao Joao da Pesqueira, Overnight in Vesuvio and another visit of the fabulous site of Romaneira.

Maybe next year.
