Highland Park 12 Year Old Malt Whisky

Had this several times over the Christmas period because it is so easy to drink.
Nice medium coloured whisky, like a cup of darjeeling with a pretty amber hue. Swills around the glass nicely adding to general feeling of wellbeing. Nose is unsurprisingly alcoholic with strong herby overtones and maybe a touch of gooseberry. Lovely warm and luscious mouthfeel and strong citric flavours, particularly on the finish but still slightly sweet. Feels nice, particularly at the top of a Peak in Derbyshire. Bought for £15 from Asda last year and cannot be argued with for value but should not be argued with anyway - lovely whisky.
